Presider: We have one Father in heaven, and one Teacher, his only Son. Let us come to our Father, praying for all his children on earth.
- That those ordained to lead us may be sincere and faithful in their sacred ministries, we pray.
- That all peoples may recognize the loving Father who created them, we pray.
- That the humble honesty of Christ may pierce the pride and pretense of people, who think highly of them, we pray.
- That we may receive divine Revelation in all its living power as “God’s message and not some human thinking”, we pray.
- That the sick in our community give thanks for God’s mercy, we pray.
- For the repose of the souls of our departed relatives and friends, we pray.
- For those who suffer, that God’s love bind their wounds and human compassion ease their pain, we pray.
Presider: God and Father of all peoples, we bring before you the needs of those who know you and those who have never heard your name. Grant our petitions made in faith, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
