Presider: Our shepherd King reveals the mystery of his kingdom, in people who extend his loving care to the poor and the hungry. At the end of this Church Year, our prayers are the compassionate intentions of his priestly people.
- For the Church, the working body of Christ, that we will welcome the lost, the stray, the weak and wounded, we pray.
- For the nations of the world, that development may bring peace and justice, we pray.
- For the most neglected and rejected people, that practical charity will draw them into the kingdom of mercy and love, we pray.
- For the community in which we live, that we may spread the reign of Jesus Christ in acts of kindness and care, we pray.
- For Fr. Ken Hezel and people of God in the Parish of Kristo Rai, that they may indeed be united under the Kingship of Christ, we pray.
- That the sick may draw strength in their suffering and speedy recovery from the Lord, we pray.
- For the dead, that they may enter the kingdom prepared for them since the foundation of the world, we pray.
Presider: Father, knowing your boundless love for all people, we confidently bring our intentions before you, in the name of Christ, the universal King, who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
