- That people distracted by worldly pleasures may return to the saving Grace of the Spirit, we pray.
- That each one of us gathered here may seek pardon and peace in the sacrament of penance, we pray.
- For our sick, and those who are having personal problems so that they may find consolation from us, we pray.
- That mercy and love may perfect those who have died, we pray.
- For the dead, that they may enter the kingdom prepared for them since the foundation of the world, we pray.
Presider: Hear our prayers, loving Father, as we prepare for the return of your Son, by hearing his word and offering his sacrifice. We ask this, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
