In the Transfiguration, the Father revealed the glory of his Son. We do not see his glory now, but as we wait for the kingdom, we pray in his name to the Father.

1. That the glory of Christ may shine through the Church as we faithfully listen to him, we pray.

2. That the beloved Son may lead the nations into paths of peace and justice, we pray.

3. That people who suffer may see their future in the transfigured Redeemer, we pray.

4. That we may so grow in grace that others may look at our lives and see “the light of Jesus”, we pray.

5. That the seriously sick members of our community may welcome the sacrament of holy anointing, we pray.

6. That the dead may be transfigured in the likeness of Christ’s glorious body, we pray.
