- That those who direct human society and frame our laws may submit to the commandments of God, we pray.
- That those who are slaves to fear may find the freedom of the sons and daughters of God, we pray.
- That we may work to bring non-believers to faith and baptism in our community, we pray.
- That the sick at home and at hospitals may be granted speedy recovery, we pray.
- That our departed brothers and sisters may be raised into the glory of the Holy Trinity, we pray.
