With gratitude to God and joy in the life of our local Church, the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa announces the publication of the Canonical Banns for the Ordination to the Sacred Order of Presbyters of:
Rev. Deacon Ian Cagalawan Pamisa
Holy Child Parish, Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines, 9010
Son of Mr. Giovanni Bernardo Pamisa and Mrs. Marites Cagalawan Pamisa
The ordination will take place on September 5, 2026.
As required by the Church, the banns shall be published for three consecutive Sundays prior to the ordination. The Christian faithful are invited to pray for the candidate as he prepares to receive the gift and responsibility of the priesthood. Should anyone know of any canonical impediment that may prevent his ordination, they are encouraged to inform the Chancery Office.
